"I picked up a camera for the first time in 2010. 'Til then, I had no idea what DSLR meant. I have been working with a fashion design company for the last 27 years, and that constant exposure to creativity has helped me a lot as a photographer. My exposure to art and artists and my frequent travels have fueled my passion for photography. Coming into contact with some amazing talent on g+, pushed me into exploring the field further."

From Picforest:
"Her photos adorn covers of books of some of the greatest poets of Gujarati literature. She has won the Gold Medal at the prestigious “The 73rd Photographic Salon of Japan” in the year 2012 for her photo “Curious”. Recently she was involved in interesting joint projects with few emerging artists of the world. She has also undertaken few projects related to world renowned artists’ works in India."saatchiart.com:
"...I indulge in all kinds of genre but my love is for abstract and candid portraits. Apart from group shows, I have one solo exhibition "Chiaroscuro" [2012] to my credit."vocabulary.com:
"Chiaroscuro is an Italian artistic term used to describe the dramatic effect of contrasting areas of light and dark in an artwork, particularly paintings. It comes from the combination of the Italian words for 'light' and 'dark.'
"Nowadays chiaroscuro applies to a far wider array of dramatic lighting effects, particularly in movies — anything dark and moody with great slashes of shadow, is very chiaroscuro. Film Noir, of all the film genres, is the best example of chiaroscuro. Chiaroscuro remains essentially a technical word, though, and is not often used in everyday conversation — unless you happen to be a film critic of course."
